MESA, Ariz. -- If you've always wanted to play the Beach Boys' "She's real fine, my 409" in your '61 or '62 Chevy -- or anything else that's on your iPod, Impala Bob's just made it easier. For the first time, Custom Autosound radios are available to fit in the original dash slot of 1961-62 Chevrolet Impala, Bel Air and Biscayne as well as 1960-63 full-size trucks and Suburban. The $199.99 USA-2 is a 200-watt, 4-channel AM/FM stereo with an auxiliary input for an iPod or satellite radio. It features an electronic tuner behind an analog dial for an OEM look, 18 FM and 12 AM presets, seek and scan, 4-way fader and a chrome nose-piece.

The $279.99 USA-6 is a 240-watt, 4-channel AM/FM stereo with an optional auxiliary input for an iPod or satellite radio. It features an electronic tuner behind an analog dial for an OEM look, 15 FM and 10 AM presets, seek and scan, left and right balance, fader, separate bass and treble control and a chrome nose-piece. The USA-6 can also be teamed with a USA-10 10-disc CD changer, available for $299.99.

Besides the new models that fit 61-62 Impalas and 60-63 trucks, both the USA-2 and USA-6 are available for all 1953-76 Impala, Caprice, Bel Air, and Biscayne, 1964-85 Chevelle, Malibu and Monte Carlo, and 1947-88 full size trucks, Suburban and Blazer. For 1953-54 full-size models, the radios are available with and without push-button presets.
