MESA, Ariz. -- If you're customizing a 58-76 full-size Chevrolet, Impala Bob's has the finishing touch to give the interior a unique and modern look: a digital dash cluster. Each kit includes speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, voltmeter, coolant temperature and oil temperature gauges, along with a digital odometer, plus a trip odometer on 69-70 and 71-76 clusters. A digital clock is available for 63-64 and 65-66 dash clusters, and a clock and outside temperature gauge is optional for the 69-70 cluster.
Prices range from $599.99 to $849.99. A separate wiring connection kit for $49.99 is needed for 59-60, 61-62 and 63-64 clusters to connect the digital gauges to the factory wiring harnesses. Customers can order online or call 1-800-IMPALAS (1-800-467-2527).
"Many drivers prefer gauges to the warning lights that were standard when these cars were new, but at the same time, they'd rather not have a bunch of aftermarket gauges and wires hanging under the dash," said Impala Bob's President Bob Antebi. "These digital clusters give the dash a much cleaner look by integrating the gauges into the original housings."
Digital gauge clusters are available for all full-size Chevrolet models from 1958 to 1976, including Biscanye, Bel Air, Impala and Caprice. All are designed to fit into the original instrument panel housing and bezels. The 61-62 kit also includes the aluminum trim panel for the instrument panel. Clusters for the 61-62, 63-64, 65-66, 67 and 68 models feature both digital readouts and bar graphs for the speedometer and tachometer.Impala Bob's is a leading supplier of restoration parts and accessories for classic Chevrolet cars and trucks.
